I just received the link of a tweet (sent from mobile) and opened it on my computer. Surprise! It looked as if Twitter just redesigned its website. Different font sizes, styles, favicons and layouts. You would say that, being a version for a different medium, this is normal. The interesting thing is that all the hover states are still present, which is quite unusual for a mobile version, but not for a responsive/adaptive website.

So, what do you think: is Twitter preparing for a redesign?
