I am afraid I didn't understood enough how to use it. ( and do I need to have a tech bg to use glitch?

You don't need to have a tech background to use Glitch! Start by remixing any of the apps you see, or just experiment with the editor by starting a new project.

    --Fascinating-- Crashinating.

After joining I have tried to remix some projects but keep getting lost in the interface and don't know how to get home.

I love the playfulness and accessibility to all of the files and source.

I am doing something wrong though?

    Join my remix!

I just joined and remixed it -- looks good so far.

When you say you get lost in the interface, what's losing you in particular? (Disclaimer: I work for Fog Creek, so I can take this input back to the team.)

I logged back in and it was exciting to see...what...I actually don't know what those anonymous avatars mean...I saw your name and avatar though!

I am assuming those updates to my questions are from you. The automatically generated subdomain made no sense to me. I didn't know it was unique to me or that I could edit it. I thought it was...another user's name and I was remixing their project?

        I hope that helped!

Haha -- yeah, those comments were me! When you click the rewind button in the left sidebar, that will bring up the Rewind console, and you can scrub the cursor there through the timeline to see who made edits (and what was edited). It's our take on version control called Rewind.

And yes, the subdomains are unique to your project and can be changed to anything you like! But this is great feedback that I can take back to the team. Keep tinkering and let me know what else you come up with!
