Hi everyone :)

I want to share with you – a new task management service that I have been working on for the last two years. It's been quite a journey.

At first, it might not look like something new, but we have a big dream that we are following – One centralized system for your team. With kanban, chat, time tracking and more thing each time needs - all in one place. We also want to sync with other systems. Of course, not everything is ready yet, but we are working on it.

    Looks really interesting! Loving the demo projects, super nice site feature.

    I'm very curious to see how it'll perform at the main features compared to the single-focus alternatives. Like how the time tracking will compare to Harvest, the messaging to Slack and task management to Trello. Those tools are single-focus for a reason.

      Thanks Ollie,

      We build Ora for two reasons. We love making cool products and we believe there is room for improvement in the current solutions ecosystem.

      At this point we don't even have a chat. Our focus is more on the task management side and we will expand from there. It's a new tool so comparing it with tools that exist for 5 years or more is unfair.

      We hope Ora will find its own place under the sun. Where Ora shines is at its tide integration between task and time management.

    Gotta give you props for the monumental effort in building something like this. I think you're going to have a super tough time though getting people to switch over from what they're currently using (slack, trello, toggl, etc.) to a unified system like yours.

      Honestly we are having tons of fun doing that. So of course we don't expect some incredible miracle like everybody switching to our service just yet. We aim for a small part of the people that are looking for an alternative.

    Just created an account. This is truly an undertaking! Loving what I see so far. I like the addition of time tracking on each card. Super useful. There are many features and I think you've laid them out nicely in terms of UX. There's still a lot to take in but I will definitely look to Ora for future projects. Well done.

    Looks really cool! I'll give it a spin...

    One small piece of feedback from a non-designer. The very bottom of your landing page has a section that says "Get Early Access!" and then two buttons below it. The size and coloration of these buttons make them look like an email entry field at first glance, so I quickly clicked the grey button to put in my email and was surprised to be taken to a new page.

    Again, maybe I'm an isolated case, but that was a little disorienting at first.
