    This is really interesting.

    If I'm reading this correctly through the translation, it seems like they were going to use this design instead, but it was thrown out because of complaints of plagiarism.

      Yes. That's true. The contest winner was disqualified after the logo looked like New Taipei's logo. This was the logo that ranked second in the voting.
