We've been hard at work redesigning and re-engineering designers.how, and we're ready to show you! Our focus will be to deliver timely, relevant, frequent design learning content.. on topics that are important to modern designers.
This has been such a rewarding project, and I'm really excited that I finally get to show you guys. I really enjoy teaching and spreading design knowledge, and this relaunch is just going to amplify that! Seriously, check it out.. we're gonna be doing some cool stuff.
We've got a solid roadmap of content to discuss in the near future.. VR, prototyping, animation, UI design.. But it's possible we're missing something really neat. Let us know if there's anything you'd like to see us explore!
P.S. We're also looking for people who want to teach what they love to do. Email us at hello@designers.how if you're interested in getting involved!
I am most probably nowhere near your skill level, but as you are teaching experience design as well, then please allow to use a fullscreen button for the Vimeo player. At the moment at 560px it is pointless, you could have a 1:15 audio clip instead.
Other than that, it is great that such content is produced. Will there be a full episodes list for each course to see if I am interested or not?
All of our content can be made fullscreen, and will actually downloadable as well in case you want to consume offline! They're all recorded at native 1920x1080 (not resampled) for nice crisp text and UI. I'll make the intro fullscreenable too. EDIT: We're currently working on download functionality.
Regarding the episode list.. yes! Actually anyone will be able to see the full episode list. We're striving for a good balance of free and 'pro' videos, and to actually provide useful content on both sides.
Great comments, thanks for your input!
Looks cool, but hopefully at launch I'll be able to check out one of the free courses before putting the money down. Not sure I'd do so without it.
Oh, you will for sure. Looking forward to showing you more. Thanks, Peter!
Great! Can't wait.
