Whichever one fits.
Proxima Nova by Mark Simonson. I got hooked back in 2009, very hard to find something that works so well across multiple mediums. I am a big fan of Futura, but it's not the best all around design. So Proxima fits into that happy middle ground of being a cool geometric design, but still very functional. It's not perfect, but it's perfect for me in the time being.
DIN.
Always and forever.
I find myself using this in projects way too often.
Me too. I love its origins, I love its versatility and I love how despite how often it is imitated, it remains so unique and identifiable (the same can no longer be said about, say, Gotham).
Whichever one is best for the project at hand.
Agreed. The question was more "which one do you like the most". Not so much "what is the best font"
Brilliant haha. And totally agreed
Sans-serif: Whitney, Open Sans, Avenir Next
Serif: Sentinel, Tiempos, Garamond, Freight
Whitney ❤️
And Gotham, and Tungsten, and Georgia, and Helvetica, and Knockout, and Neutraface, and...
Akzidenz-Grotesk
I'm using Operator Mono in my Xcode and Atom
Same. Not sure when or if I would ever use it in a project, but at least for writing stuff down in Ulysses, it's delightful.
Univers. Difficult to tame but in the right context it's superb
I don't have a favorite, but I love how Knockout looks when used like this:
That's an example from my website.
Can't take this seriously because there's no justification. This is the equivalent of telling people to not eat pork but to eat chicken and beef instead. If you don't say why you're opinion doesn't count.
What? Terrible analogy. Nobody is saying you should use this or that. People are simply stating their favorite font(s), like the question asks.
Ummm. what? haha I was just wondering what everyones personal favorite font is, not saying "What font is the only font EVERYONE SHOULD USE" just... what font do you like? and agree with erik, not a great analogy
Museo Sans, Circular, ARS Maquette Pro.

ARS Maquette Pro
All 3 of those are great! hadn't seen ARS Maquette before.
Thanks! I didn't notice I got a reply from you :O
Century Schoolbook... love me some slab serifs.
Trade Gothic, DIN, and/or Brandon Grotesque.
Trade gothic bold condensed is my jam.
Roboto.
I've been using Montserrat pretty heavily in a recent project and it's really grown on me. As a few others said, though, it really depends on the project.
I wanted to like it, but the 'G' and 'J' are awful IMO.
For sans-serif, I'm loving Montreal/Montserrat. For serif, Freight Display.
A font is a tool, and the tool you use depends on the case. I struggle to think of a "favorite" font, but I can tell you many that are "particularly good for something" instead.
Arno Pro is my jam.
Papyrus
Gotham and Adobe Garamond Pro
I really dig Work Sans. http://weiweihuanghuang.github.io/Work-Sans/
Recently I've grown fond of Circular and Akkurat.
Gotham Alternative -> GT Walsheim Pro, Mark Pro, Sofia Pro
Futura Alternative -> Neuzeit Grotesk, Niveau Grotesk
Serif -> Sentinel, Lyon Text, Calluna
Slab -> Achille II FY
Brandon Grotesque, Circular my favorites :)
Sofia Pro.
Runner-up prizes: Fakt, Gotham, Supria Sans, Europa, Fort, Nitti Grotesk, Univers.
I generally dislike serif fonts, but I don't mind FF Tisa.
For programming I like Cousine.
Karla, Monserrat
Karla <3
Din, Whitney, and Gotham are always at the top of my list.
My free ones: Source Sans/Serif Pro, Montserrat, Playfair Display. I love Avenir too, it's included with Mac, so sweet.
Calibre. Specially its thin weights.
