Nice visual updates but wonder why their "Moments" feature wasn't included in this update?
Maybe in the next 5 years we'll get that feature :)
apparently this was outsourced to Black Pixel.

I still haven't download it yet. One of the craziest stories I've heard about this so far is that the development for Twitter's Mac App was outsourced. For a company that has been trying to pride itself on being a developer centric company; you would think they could allocate more resources to developing their own first class products.
Totally disappointed with the new version. It should be called 3.0.1, not 4.
About time! Seems good so far.
This is not made by Twitter apparently. It was outsourced to 3rd party developer. That explains the quality drop.
Anybody else's avatar on the left side blurry?
I was close to purchasing Tweetbot for Mac just a few days ago, and then this dropped so now I'm reevaluating. I don't mind spending a little money on things I use quite a bit...
Maybe someone can convince me one way or the other. :)
Tweetbot has a lot of great little features that are hard to go back from. And the updates come pretty steadily, where the official app has a slower pace. That said, the official app can have things that third-party clients can't, so it depends on what about Twitter matters most to you. I'm a happy Tweetbot customer.
Tweetbot for Mac and Tweetbot for iOS are great. Definitely worth your $.
Late to the party... purchased. :)
Twitter's official app will never catch up to Tweetbot, just buy it.
Tweetbot is hardly ideal, the UX favours photos over tweets for some real reason.
Really wasn't impressed and couldn't understand the hype, went back to the old official app after about 20 minutes and frustration
