I kind of expected to have to pay "a reasonable fee" to view the website :)

overall I like the changes, just the shading on the icons is quite inconsistent

Also worth mentioning that their iPhone app is superb.

Very impressed with this, you can tell the team have done an amazing amount of work to reimagine the process of booking a flight. Some of the best UI I've seen for any travel website. Considering the branding and UX that Ryanair used to be (in)famous for, this is mindblowing.

Love the form details, lots of nice custom elements but feels simple.

Ryanair used to get a lot of flak for hiding credit card and misc charges until the last screen, looks like they're making sure to be as transparent as possible now:

Yeah the 8MB pageload isn't good. That's probably why this is a Beta.

    Haters gonna hate.

The search functionality is fast and smooth but you end up scrolling a lot with the various overlays. Needs work.

I'm not convinced by the off-kilter design on the landing page. Headings left / boxes right. Feels somewhat uncomfortable to me...

Definitely an improvement. A lot of hard work has gone into this.

Nothing to do with design, but... super slow, with a loader, 8 megabytes to load, and doesn't work without Javascript... really?

Love it! Such a good job.

The 'price breakdown' should follow you down as you fill in each step I reckon, but that's just me.

I thought the list on the right was to help me fill in the "to" option. So I was disappointed when I changed the "From" field to Bristol, and then realized I'd have to do it again if I wanted to see the best deals from Bristol. And then I noticed the airport pickers for each were different, despite being right next to each other.

I don't have their data so maybe all this was intentional, but left me a little ?!

    huh?

It needs a little work on the small details, but is is getting a lot better over there in Ireland.

    Great design! :)

A small mention, why the drop shadow behind the 'book now' text in the button? It makes it harder too read and I can't seem to find it elsewhere in the design?

While we absolutely should focus this discussion on the page's design (which I like, it feels clean and light like the Virgin Atlantic redesign a few months back), I'd like to take this opportunity to note that Ryanair is not the best company in the world and you may wish to avoid supporting them if alternatives are available to you.
