Curious to know what you're favourite cooking/recipe app is atm and what you dislike about it! :-)
Some of my favourites are:
Jamie Oliver Recipes https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/jamie-olivers-recipes/id398011800?mt=8
But I have to say I use a lot food52, but there is no app.
I use Yummly quite a lot. Integrated with their website too.
Big fan of yummly
Paprika - We have grown a digital library of over 700 recipes from past family recipes and stuff we find online. Every weekend we plan out the next week's meal schedule, then get all the groceries. Sometimes she will ask me to get a few things at the store, the list is already on my phone, so she doesn't have to tell me what to get. Haven't found anything as comprehensive since.
My only dislike is that they don't polish UI as often as other apps, but I think it's just one guy, so I can't complain, it works.
Thanks for the input guys! I totally forgot to post my own personal favourite; New York Times Cooking (app & website)
Looks good, taste good!
I'm as big fan of https://onetsp.com/
Really clean, I think it's a single person operation as well.
http://www.filibaba.com for the veggie's
I really like basil, it is an app for collecting recipes and replaying them as you cook, with timers etc. It has a favelet so you can grab recipes off websites easily, decent unit conversion, notes, a shopping list helper which I have never used, and is quite pleasant to look at.
I'll second Basil. I really wish there were an iPhone and Mac/Web version, but the iPad app is so good I always come back to it.
I like the Fitmencook app. Great and healthy recipes. Like the option to add all ingredients to a shopping list you can then use in the grocery store. :) Would like to see more recipes in it though.
Agree, it's a pretty neat app.
