Ask DN: Is there a way to force Sketch to stop using decimals in any of its measurements?

Do any of you know how to force Sketch to stop using decimals? Like I don't ever want to see them again. :)

I know you can "Round to the Nearest Pixel" but that often times messes up an icon I have when I do that.

It's really pissing me off because when you export icons then they have weird sizes in the final pngs.

Any help is appreciated.

Till they figure out a way to fix this, you'll have to use Edit -> Scale (cmd+k) for now.

This problem is one of the worstest in Sketch, rounded to the nearest pixel never works right. As I know we can't do anything about this at the moment. The only solution is manual round attributes one by one...

  Beta of what? Years of internet tomfoolery has cautioned me against clicking anything that comes out of the blue and seems vague ;)

The worst part about this problem is that if you have elements on the grid and reposition them using the mouse, it doesn't respect that. So I've started only moving objects with the keyboard.

Agreed! Freaking annoying. Though I don't know of a solution. You dont know how much time I spend manually setting them all back to even numbers... :/

Illustrator gets this right, with the "Align to Pixel Grid" option and a setting to turn this on/off by default for pasted paths.

If you group the icon before you round to nearest, it doesn't deform it as bad. It still tries to move some elements around, but that may help in some instances.
