    A probably unhelpful answer: Photoshop.

I find it really good for making GIF mockups.

Photoshop has all kinds of crazy stuff it probably shouldn’t, like video editing, and a frame-based timeline editor. Pretty cool for making GIFs.

What tools do you know? I'm pretty sure you're already close to having all you need. Here's information that might help you. I'm sure I'm missing a ton, but it should give you an idea of the breadth of your options:

Tools I know that can animate and export to gif or video:

    • Photoshop
    • Flash
    • After Effects
    • Keynote

Tools that can make interactive prototypes:

    • HTML and CSS if you know them
    • Framer (requires Javascript knowledge)
    • Keynote
    • Quartz Composer
    • Marvel?
    • Macaw
    • Invision (not as rich as others)

Tools that can capture to gif or video:

    • Quicktime player (choose file → new screen recording)
    • LiceCAP (crowd favorite)
    • GifGrabber

Tools that can transform video formats to gif:

    • Gif Brewery
    • Gifrocket
    • ClipConverter

Thanks for all the info Louis-André!! It's more then enough that I needed, thanks you so much!

I'm currently doing more of the interactive prototypes, using Invision, thought it's good enough for me, but I'll def try the others out as you suggested.

I was looking for tools that can animate and export to gif :) so thanks for all the list! I'll probably try out Photoshop first as many of you suggested.
