The final step in transferring Designer News to our new overlord Andrew Wilkinson is going to require some downtime as we migrate the site to a new host. I'll try and minimize the downtime as much as possible, but it's mostly unavoidable. I will put the site into a read-only mode, which will allow you to continue to read stories, but you won't be able to submit, vote, comment, etc.

Once the migration is finished, DN will live at a new URL! Don't worry though, because news.layervault.com will redirect you to the right place.
