So even Facebook is now going all-in on this flat, sterile, 'Material Design' aesthetic. Soooooo boring.
Is this a Google product or a Facebook product?
For whatever it's worth, I believe Facebook has been using material design principles since, before Lollipop launched. Though I've been wrong before.
I get the feeling Facebook wants to be seen completely unified with the OS, which makes sense with their strategy overall.
Yes, I guess there's nothing "new" on the interface, and I also think that Facebook is trying to be seen completely unified with the OS design style. Which is okay IMO.
It actually really bothers me how adherence to the OS style doesn't make it look platform native it just makes it look like a Google design.
...pretty much duplicates stock android functionality? not seeing what's new/different.
I guess you don't have to ask for your friends friends number anymore.
In some time we will all be like: "Remember when you had to ask for the actual phone number? Man that was awkward..."
stock dialer can sync to Facebook though.
I know, but what if you wanted to call a person you don't know? :)
Let's just hope my profile won't show up if I'm not searchable on Facebook.
Isn't everyone searchable on Facebook now? Thought they removed that option ages ago...
Huh, I guess you're right.
Just removed my last name from Facebook and got rid of public details.
Finally Truecaller is getting real competition!
Would love to give this a try if it didn't force close like crazy on my device.
There we go.
