It would be even more awesome if it'd be a Sublime Text extension !
Couldn't agree more.
How come developers have such a plethora of tools and services to work for them whilst we designers are stuck with the same old freaking Photoshop we've been using for years?! I know now finally Sketch and some other competitors are kind of entering that space, but still! Anyways really nice!
Because most developers can code to solve the problems that they have, we'll get there soon enough :)
I dont see it that at all, i feel all the tools that they can use we can. tools like these def help us designers who want to build what they design, or at least prototype. crossing over into the developer world can be tough for some, these little tools make it a bit of an easier transition into the programming world.
holy wow
Looks like a great time saver for designers and developers. Kind of reminds me of the split screen in Dreamweaver with preview and code view. Lets hope it evolves into a robust product!
Really sick
I have a pretty big code base and the last time I used brackets to develop in it brackets was pretty sluggish. This feature looks very useful, but many of the other features (e.g. inline editing: http://cl.ly/PTGB) grew lethargic under the weight of my, real life, large files.
Looks like an innovative concept, only I'm not sure if it's ready for the real world. Excuse me, my real world.
"Brackets is still in the oven and needs to bake a little longer before it's a full-featured code editor. The milestone builds available on download.brackets.io are there for contributors and those special kind of crazy designers and developers who like to live on the edge. Performance, stability and features are all in flux. Use at your own risk." -brackets.io
They never claimed it was real world ready, and with the above statement I don't see how your negative experience was unexpected and disappointing.
HO. LEE. FUCK.
I've seen Brackets.io being mentioned here, but this feature is pretty insane.
