It works nice when linked to a domain: giveme.money. I might see if I can get my clients to pay me through that URL.

Another great iteration of Square Cash. I've used Square Cash a bunch of times and I love it. Having the ability to just send someone a link is pretty interesting.

Why do none of these amazing services ever work in Canada? No Snapcash. No Facebook Pay. No Square Cash. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

        Ditto :(

My first name was available a few hours ago, tried to download the app (great growth hack fwiw, if only I could actually download it!) and now it's gone...

This is pretty great. I'm hoping this takes over Venmo's grip of social payments.

If anyone wants to test out a payment ;) https://cash.me/$tgines

This is one of those "That's so obvious in hindsight" moments. This is gonna be really huge for micro-businesses

This is the best thing about underdogs: they need to try exciting new things in order to pull ahead. I love how only one of the two users involved in a transaction needs a Square Cash account. Curious to see how/if cashtags will be used.

Love this! Just worry about people I were to send this to not trusting the site. Might be good to have the square logo on the page. Something that instantly instills a little more assurance.

Heh, their payment pages are clearly using some type of keyCode system to enter the numeric values, as using your numpad doesn't work.

Also, spend enough time on the username checker and you'll get a cool eye burn-in when you look away.

The best part of services like this is getting in early so you can get a great name like $Dolla

This is an awesome addition to an already awesome app. It will be interesting to see how the $ tag works when shared on twitter since they already use the $ tag.

As long as nobody uses $AAPL, there won't be that much confusion.

Then again, of course someone will take $AAPL, $TWTR, $GOOG and all the other famous stock market handles.
