Completely unrelated but we both have the paint bucket as an icon.
That sounds completely related to me.
I see what you did there.
It looks nice, but how close is it to a testable version of some sort? Or is it just design concepts?
It looks really nice, but it just looks more like an example of what Chrome OS should be like (the taskbar looks very much like Chrome OS) instead of an individual product.
Is it something that's meant to replace your laptop like the Surface (the product they market with it seems to look a lot like the Surface), or is it meant to purely be a tablet where you still won't really be able to be that productive? I noticed they marketed mouse support with the device itself so it has me thinking.
It just seems like a revamped version of Android or Chrome OS for tablets instead of a completely revitalized Operating System with brand new ideas.
From the material its a skinned/modified version of Android.
This looks awesome.
On another note. Interesting how there's a spelling mistake on this site on mobile devices only :) "Swtich between apps with taskbar"
Actually it looks like they've not only rearranged elements on mobile devices, but actually have rewritten the entire copy
Looks fantastic, and if all the features work as seamlessly as the marketing suggests, then this could be one of the best ipad alternatives yet. I'm a bit concerned about the quality of the keyboard and the inbuilt stand though, maybe a video at some point can demonstrate if they are solidly built.
