    Little disappointed if I'm honest.

Absolutely love reading design details, for its hyper critical and in depth analysis.

I was expecting something similar in podcast form, really digging deep into particular subjects, felt like this skirted around too many subjects, limiting the 'details' on offer.

Still, for a first podcast, it's got potential. Looking forward to more design centric episodes, which judging by the line-up is the case.

We don't think that audio is the best way to dig deep into visual interactions - but we do think it's a great way to dig deep into the people that make those great interactions.

Instead of digging into visuals - digging into what gets these people excited, the way they think, the way they process things as a person, what has led to them designing and building things the way they do.

We feel very lucky to have the day-to-day conversations we get to have now with people we've looked up to for years. We think that broadcasting that to people has value. I know I certainly would've appreciated having some insight and context into this while I was working back in the midwest with very limited contact with these people.

Sorry if that's not what you're looking for.

Thanks so much for the feedback Ryan - we're definitely still learning, and finding our "voice" or style will be an ongoing process. Would love to keep hearing feedback as we go if you have other thoughts on how we might improve :)

I understand audio isn't the best way to dig deep into visuals.

I meant more about jumping from Whiskey, to Roon, to Cheddar...

the podcast seems to have a lot more topics than a DD post. More chapters = less detail per chapter.

less detail = less design details-y

Oh, got it. You're definitely right there.

We are totally planning to have Sam back on a future episode. Hopefully we can go deeper then.

Drink a shot of whiskey every time he says "like".

Hehe if you're referring to me - this is something I'm actively working on :P so hard to stop once it's a habit!

Oh, I thought I was referring to Sam......but now I'm not so sure! I feel your pain though, I wasn't even aware I had so many habits until I released some product videos.

Yay! We're really excited to finally get this episode out! We have 4 more episodes recorded with Nick Slater, Wilson Miner, Kristy Tillman, & Gabe Valdivia. These'll be posted every Monday for the next 4 weeks.

After Brian gets back from his month-long trip to Asia, we'll be recording them weekly and posting them shortly after - ideally every Monday.

Would love to hear what you think!
