I've been using fontastic.me for a while. Seems like the same sorta thing.
Same here, love it
I've been using a combination of gulp plugins to generate icon fonts from SVGs, and I'm curious to know what sorts of advantages using a service like Fontello or fontastic.me would have over this.
My current workflow:
I drag and drop an SVG into a folder that gulp is listening to. Gulp starts processing the icon , and runs it through a lodash template. The final products are an SCSS file and relevant font files (e.g. EOT, SVG, TTF, WOFF).
I've been using SVGs in image elements but just discovered this free service that lets you upload a bunch of SVGs to create a single custom font file (like your own font-awesome).
It's so quick and easy that I've converted all my SVG icons over since you can do pure CSS icons with "content" attributes. Plus a single font file is also better for faster-loading pages and caching.
