This is great stuff.. really well done.. Love the use of whitespace and font choice. The only tip I would give you is to check your site copy again. I've seen a few super small errors.. for example: "For the last year and half" on your about page.

Clean and effective, good job. You might need overflow: hidden on your nav icon though, when it's active the two lines that slide away means that I can scroll sideways on my mobile. Should be easy to fix, I like animation :)

The very first thing you say is 'I like enormous amounts of whitespace' - I'm not sure how that is going to help you get an internship.

However....

"My name is Stijn and I’m looking for an internship to graduate. I want to design for technology that will change the way we live our lives."

Something like that defines your goal and purpose. That is desirable for your intended audience. I'd lead with that.
