I quit Twitter a while ago in favor of another decentralized social network. While I still love the beauty I left Twitter for, I see that there's a lot of value in having a Twitter account and communicating & networking with it.

My question is: where do I start with getting back into Twitter? Are there any strategies I should use to maximize its usefulness for my career? What's the best way to network with other designers and developers on Twitter?
