ASK DN: API for Designer News?

Hi DN!
This site has become a must read site for me, but one of the things I dont like is the lack of search. Is there an API I can access to build a designer news search?

Whoa, I didn't know you could do that! That^ is awesome.
The only custom google search you could do is "site:news.layervault.com ".

Well, you could use the API to save every post and then put a search engine over it.
