I think it's a fair guess that a good number of us end up helping to build the designs we create, but what does everyone use to get the job done? What app/framework/extension/whatever can't you live without?
One of my favorite recent discoveries is the web inspector in the new Safari/iOS 6. Connect your iOS device to your computer, open a page in mobile Safari, go to the develop menu in Safari for desktop, and BAM! Instant web inspector for your phone.
Muuuuuuch less flaky than Adobe Edge.
Used it some days ago and this is a really amazing tool!

I usually try and use one new technique or tool on each project to see if it like it. Recently been tryout out SCSS.
Slicy looks super interesting, definitely going to try that.

Espresso by macrabbit. Editing CSS with the live preview (used to be a standalone app, CSSEdit) feels very intuitive, and it's especially good for anyone who's still learning CSS.

Hammer is pretty useful for pure front-end stuff.
I use Sublime Text 2, xScope, iTerm 2, Sass, Git and guard-livereload on a daily basis. I also still use CSSEdit (the version before it merged with Espresso) for older projects that don't make use of Sass.
