Wow. There's some backstory I wasn't expecting. It sounds like both parties probably want to get along here. I wonder if it's the lawyers causing problems?

Everyone just mind their own damn business. That's the only lesson you can take from this.
People don't care if you have o feed your children, they just don't care. But when they're harmed, then others are demanded to care.
People could be nice, but then they wouldn't be people. They would be some sort of alien, that knows and tries to understand others.
