Haven't looked at the src yet but: awesome
haha I came here to say nearly the same thing. take an upvote.
Pretty awesome. Related for extracting color from HTML5 video: http://reustle.io/blog/reading-html5-video-data
Really like the way Pinterest implemented this idea. Thanks for sharing.
Pinterest? How did they do that? I haven't seen yet.
When Pinterest auto-loads images further down the page, it sets the background-color for the elements to the dominant colour in the image. That way, when you scroll down really quickly, you don't get ugly white boxes suddenly turning into images, you get neat colourful rectangles which sort of magically 'sharpen' themselves into real images. Really neat.
Wow!! That's Great !!
Nice find. Thanks for sharing. Nice examples on the site too.
Brilliant! Going to have a play with this today!
YOU ROCK!!! This is Frickin' Awesome
Not a snarky comment: does this properly attribute Color Thief?
Yep in the github project readme it's clearly mentioned.
This is great. Thanks!

Ahhh cool, I always wanted to make this! So Pinteresting!
The magic (algorithm) comes from Color Thief which is useful in it's own right.
Color Thief has been replaced by my own algorithm, RGBaster. Thanks Kevin.
