Great article, I really don't understand this long-hours hacker culture. Even if a person has a huge passion about his work, there are a lot of other important things that deserve attention:family, friends, girls (or girlfriend), hobbies. This kind of things are crucial to recharge batteries and inspire you.
It's insane how people praise guys like Aaron Levie: http://www.inc.com/magazine/201211/reshma-memon-yaqub/the-way-i-work-aaron-levie-box.html
"It was just a long weekend in Mexico with my girlfriend. She and I met a few years ago at a nonwork party that I really didn't want to go to, because I don't understand the point of such things....I don't have time for nonwork stuff." - Aaron Levie
And who wants to date with a guy who says that doesn't' have time to nonwork stuff?
