I was hoping you'd explain the nuts and bolts. That's definitely a lot simpler than I'd expected it would be.

Kelly, can I ask you: how will you know whether the progressive reduction strategy is successful? Are there any metrics you think you could use, or would you be asking for qualitative feedback from users?

I'm tracking a handful of metrics associated with PR. Every feature and its various event states are wired to be tracked by Google Analytics. We'll be watching for the change in things you might expect — page views, time on page, and feature usage.

Were I more of a Google Analytics ninja, I'd probably also measure the difference in time it takes to discover features. Until then, just the basics.

Oh, sure, I get that you'd be tracking everything on GA. But what I mean is... what changes in page views, time on page, feature usage etc would you expect? Beyond making the user experience more enjoyable and streamlined, how would PR actually change how users use Layervault on a level that's clearly trackable?

        Hope that makes sense...
