Hey friends! Vladimir, founder of Vectornator here. I started working on Vectornator when I was still a kid (10 y.o) because I wanted to create a graphic design tool that anyone could use, regardless of age or experience. Today, almost a decade later, we're releasing Vectornator X. It's a significant update; the flagship feature is auto-trace — Vectornator will be the first app where your images can be converted into vectors with a single tap.

In the future, we will take Vectornator to completely new grounds with real-time collaboration. Imagine being able to work with colleagues on the same document in real-time. That's just mind-blowing.

Hope you like Vectornator X! I'll be here most of the day, shoot me any questions in comments :)

I haven't been able to figure out how to use auto-tracing and have been messing with the app for a couple days. What am I missing?

Hey Hussain, anytime you import an image into your vectornator file, the Auto Trace panel will show up inside the Style Tab. In our blog article, there's a gif to show you how to work with it and soon we're posting some video tutorials about the new features released with Vectornator X. Hope this helps!

        ps. I work for Vectornator.

I have to admit, it's rather annoying. They could have gotten a free review too, on my designcourse youtube chan with 420k subs. Oh well!

Are many of you folks designing graphics on iPad? I'm considering buying one, but still not sure if it's a good investment.

I use the iPad for mocking up ideas before I touch the computer. Vectornator makes it easy to do graphics or UI design as well.
