Howdy Noah. We love using Figma here at Condé Nast. We've been working hard to create libraries for all of our projects here at The New Yorker, and it's been great. That said, we can't figure out how to move local components from projects into their greater libraries without breaking relationships and overrides. How do we do this?

You can't. I have asked about this, and as far as I know nothing has changed in this regard. You can move master components from a library to different pages within the file they were created in, but I haven't found any way to move them to an entirely different file or project without losing all relationships.

Quite frustrating for me as well.
