    That was a quick use of the new API. Looking into Haiku now but I am always skeptical to get on board with a new design tool when I don't know how much it will cost.

      On pricing— while we don't have concrete details we'd prefer to not broadcast any information we know would change.

      What I can say though, is that our approach is to prioritise charging teams over individual users, and it's very important to us internally to get this right.

      In case you weren't aware, all of your project and code lives locally, and we open sourced our runtime/'engine' Haiku Core so you'll always have access to and be able to use your projects anyway. They're yours!

        This is great to hear. I really like how Figma and Atomic do this (https://atomic.io/plans), prioritizing teams who can afford to pay for a tool, and allowing individuals to use it for free.

        Individuals can certainly afford a few tools but this space is getting really crowded. I feel like as an individual I'm paying for so many things already that it's hard to justify another, especially if it's not something I'm going to use in every phase of my project (as opposed to Sketch, Invision, and Adobe products, which I'm absolutely using on a daily basis).

        I also think keeping it free or very low cost for individuals is a great way of getting a bunch of people using your product. The motion design space is crowded and full of individually priced products, so I think this is a great way to differentiate yourselves.

        Congrats on the Figma integration! This is a really big deal for a lot of people. I know I'll be trying it out.
