So instead of filing bug reports on Apple Radar they make a Tumblr...super constructive...If you have a developer account, file found bugs here... https://bugreport.apple.com/ (requires Safari)

Bad publicity expedites the bug fixing process.

I’m all for filing radars, but you simply can’t expect that all customers can or should follow your preferred method for reporting issues. Good companies should be taking feedback from wherever it’s noted.

Marc, I completely agree about companies taking feedback from wherever it's noted. But, I'm going to make a relatively sound assumption that we're all pretty savvy here including the creator of this Tumblr who is observing UI details that most average users wouldn't care to post about let alone create a Tumblr for. I believe that the creator of this Tumblr is smart enough and with such a fine eye, can submit these issues directly to the source (Apple). If the creator of this blog is a designer, then why not be professional about the whole thing?

For issues that are particularly annoying, I’m all for filing a radar and talking about it publicly. Sure, be nice about it, but in my experience, just submitting a bug report doesn’t always get the job done. Sometimes you have to discuss things in the open, and email any contacts you have.

We complain because we care. A smart company with confidence in their products will realise that.
