Please spare me the childish scroll hi-hacking hate comments.

There's a place for this technology in Web design just like there's a place for any other technology.

Calling out a bad user experience doesn't make it hate.

Not disagreeing that there's a place for something like this, but it is almost always used inappropriately and to the detriment of the user.

You're right, but it's not actually bad user experience, it's bad implementation.

If I add custom right-click menus all over my site with a gopher image inside it doesn't mean right-click menus are are bad UX. It just means I suck at my job.

Calling out open source projects for using scroll hi-jacking is like blaming Henry Ford for car accidents.

Developers should be shamed for bad scroll hi0jacking and not the creators of these plugins. I appreciate the work put into freely available open source projects and I absolutely love FSVS. Been thinking of ways to use it on a project somehow.

Fair enough! I'd say that for this particular type of interaction, anything outside of a manual slideshow-type presentation is a bad use case for it, leading to bad user experience. But I certainly wouldn't call up the developer of this plugin and yell at him/her for it.
